The City of Madison has an AMAZING Parks Department. This Spring/Summer/Fall the Parks Department is offering a special look into the City's conservation projects through a special series of hikes called
Hike Madison's Wild Side. The series is awesome! Chris & I have only made it to 2 of the hikes - but they are always informative, fun and beautiful!
The July hike was at a west-side conservation park - Owen Conservancy. We went along and I got some really fun photos:

The park is beautiful. If you ever get a chance to explore it, you really should! There are some amazing trails - but don't bring your dog. The park has a coyote population and apparently dogs attract the coyotes.
